In an environment where nearly every entity in the health care delivery business is concerned about costs and spending, the issue of quality can sometimes be overshadowed. In designing benefits and delivering care, it is critical that providers and payers stay rooted in what the evidence shows us is best for patients and optimizes outcomes.
